How it is made

Four steps, one window at a time

  1. 01Consult & measureThe openings are looked at, measured and talked through, so you know what will work.
  2. 02Design & quoteThe frames are drawn up to your measurements and you get a free quote.
  3. 03ManufactureProfiles are cut, machined and assembled to the measurements taken on site.
  4. 04Deliver & installThe finished frames are delivered, fitted and fixed into your openings.

Remove & fit

Replacing old steel or wooden windows

The opening in the wall is usually sound — it is the frame that has rusted or rotted. Remove-and-fit replaces the frame and keeps the opening.

  1. Measure the existing openings.
  2. Make the new frames — and design them first if the opening needs it.
  3. Remove the old frames by cutting their fixings, with minimal impact on the brickwork.
  4. Fit and fix the new frames.
  5. Patch the plaster around the new frames.

What happens after I ask for a quote?

The openings are looked at and measured, the frames are drawn up and quoted, then manufactured, delivered and fitted. The How We Work page walks through each step.

Can you replace old steel or wooden windows?

Yes — it is called remove-and-fit. The existing openings are measured, new frames are made, the old frames come out by cutting their fixings, the new frames are fitted and fixed, and the plaster around them is patched. Painting is not part of the job, and tiles butted up against old frames can be damaged when the frames come out.

Can I send photos of the openings?

Yes. Photos on WhatsApp, with rough sizes and the number of openings, make a first conversation much easier.
